? FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

Is it really a one-time purchase?

Yes. $19.99 once, and Aksum Math is yours. No subscription, no recurring charge, no "premium" tier hiding behind another payment. Updates are free.

Does it need an internet connection?

Only for the one-time download. After that, it runs completely offline — forever. Perfect for road trips, spotty Wi-Fi, or screen-time rules.

What grades and topics does it cover?

Grades 1 through 8, with 46 topics across number & operations, fractions/decimals/percentages, algebra, geometry, patterns, and data & measurement. Everything is grade-gated, so younger children only see age-appropriate material.

Which computers does it run on?

Windows 10 or 11, and macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later. It needs about 300 MB of space.

How many computers can I install it on?

It's licensed for your family's personal computers. If you'd like it on several machines for a homeschool co-op, tutoring practice, or classroom, just get in touch and we'll help.

What if I see a security warning when installing?

That's normal for newly released apps and doesn't mean anything is wrong. Our install guide walks you through the one extra click on Windows and Mac. Aksum Math is digitally signed and (on Mac) notarized by Apple.

Can I get a refund?

Absolutely. If Aksum Math isn't right for your family, email us within 60 days and we'll refund you, no questions asked.

Is my child's data safe?

It's not collected at all. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics — progress stays on your computer and never leaves it. Read our privacy promise.

Is it good for homeschooling?

Yes — it's built around the Common Core / Illustrative Mathematics sequence, includes printable worksheets with answer keys, and works without internet, which many homeschool families prefer.

Is there a free trial?

There's no time-limited trial — instead, every purchase is protected by a 60-day money-back guarantee, so you can try the whole app risk-free. Want a taste of the quality first? Download our free worksheet pack.

Will there be a Linux version?

It's on the way — handy for Chromebooks running Linux. Want a heads-up when it lands? Join our email list.
